Dr. Cody Gingerich is a physical therapist and CrossFit L2 trainer. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Lynchburg and his Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University.

In addition to co-owning and operating Onward Greenville, Cody serves as lead faculty for the Institute of Clinical Excellence (ICE) where he travels the country teaching how to better manage extremity dysfunctions. Cody is certified as a Master Clinician through ICE and uses his training and knowledge to combine manual hands on skills and progressive exercise programming to first calm your pain down and keep you feeling your best for the long term.  

Dr. Hayley Klein is an orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist and a licensed massage therapist. Hayley specializes in low back and hip pain, shoulder and elbow pain, TMJ/headaches, and pregnancy and postpartum rehab. She graduated for Anderson University and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Jessica Gingerich is a pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapist and a certified athletic trainer. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Lynchburg and her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Roanoke College.

In addition to co-owning and operating Onward Greenville, Jess serves as a teaching assistant with the Institute of Clinical Excellence (ICE) pelvic floor division with both online and live courses. She uses her extensive training and expertise to help women manage urinary and fecal incontinence, urinary frequency and urgency, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, diastasis recti, pregnancy/postpartum care, and return to exercise.

Dr. Makayla Gardner is an orthopedic physical therapist with training as a USA Weightlifting L1 coach. She specializes in managing shoulder and hip pain, using treatment approaches including skilled, hands-on techniques and functional exercise to help you achieve goals and improve your overall well-being. She is continually striving to learn more to serve her patients better. She graduated summa cum laude from South College in Knoxville with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Chico State University in California.

Outside of Onward, you can find Makayla working out at CrossFit Potentia, exploring the outdoors, traveling as much as possible, and enjoying local businesses.

Dr. Trevor Purcell is an orthopedic physical therapist specializing in the treatment of fitness athletes. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a minor in Exercise Science from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. He is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they love. His treatment approach combines hands-on techniques and functional exercise to promote recovery and enhance performance.
